Terms

Terms of service

The agreement between Passkaar and the businesses that use it to give their customers loyalty cards. It is written to be read: where a rule protects your customers, it says so.

Last updated 10 October 2026 · version 2026-10-10

1. About these terms

These terms are an agreement between you, the business using Passkaar, and Mujahid Muhammad, trading as PASSKAAR, a sole proprietorship, of 69-C, Nishtar Street, Etihad Colony, Iqbal Town, Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan (“Passkaar”, “we”, “us”).

You accept them when you create an account and tick the box that says you agree. The person who creates the account confirms that they may accept these terms for the business. We record which version you accepted and when. If your account was opened before these terms existed, we ask the owner to accept them at their next sign-in.

Our privacy policy explains what we collect and why. It is part of these terms.

2. The service

Passkaar lets your business give its customers loyalty cards that live in Apple Wallet and Google Wallet.

  • You design a loyalty card in your account: a stamp card, a points card, a coupon, a prepaid card, a membership card or a VIP card.
  • Your customers join by scanning your card’s QR code or opening its link and filling in a short form. The card goes into their phone’s wallet.
  • At the counter, you and your team give stamps, add or spend points, top up and deduct, apply coupons and record visits. The card on the customer’s phone updates.
  • You can send messages that appear on your customers’ cards and on their lock screens.

What depends on Apple and Google. Cards live in apps that Apple and Google run, and they work differently. For example, lock-screen reminders near your shop work mainly on iPhone, and a card in Google Wallet shows less layout than one in Apple Wallet. Apple or Google may change, limit or stop what their wallets do. When that happens, we tell you what changed and what we can do about it. We cannot promise what they will do.

Which kinds of card you can make. When we approve your account, we turn on at least one kind of loyalty card for it. You can ask us for more in your account. If we turn a kind off, you cannot make new cards of that kind, but cards you already made keep working.

3. Who may sign up

  • Passkaar is for businesses in Pakistan. You need a Pakistani mobile number to sign up.
  • The person signing up must be at least 18 years old and allowed to act for the business.
  • We review every application. You send your business’s details, its logo, and either its business registration or the owner’s CNIC. We may ask you to correct something before we decide.
  • We may refuse an application, for example when the documents do not match the business, the business is of a kind listed below, it already has an account, or we suspect fraud. We tell you that we refused it.
  • One business, one account, unless we agree otherwise.

We do not serve businesses whose main trade is:

  • anything unlawful in Pakistan;
  • gambling, betting, lotteries or prize schemes that need a licence they do not hold;
  • alcohol, tobacco, vapes or other nicotine products, or narcotics — Pakistani law restricts promoting them;
  • weapons, ammunition or explosives;
  • adult content or services;
  • prescription-only medicines, as rewards or offers;
  • pyramid, chain or multi-level marketing schemes, or investment, crypto-trading or lending schemes that promise returns.

4. Your account and your team

  • You may invite team members as an owner, an admin, a manager (the cashier) or a viewer. Each role can do only what it is allowed to: a manager can give and redeem at the counter, but cannot correct a balance, change a card, send messages or see billing.
  • You are responsible for what your team does in your account. Keep passwords private, and remove people who leave.
  • Only an owner can close the account.

5. Fees, the free period and paying by bank transfer

The free period

When we approve your account we may give you a free period: 14 days unless we agree otherwise, and never more than 60. During it your account works exactly as a paid one — your cards publish, customers join and the counter works. The only difference is a banner telling you when the free period ends. Until you choose a plan, or we put you on one, no plan limits apply. Once a plan is chosen, its limits apply straight away, even before it is paid. We tell you 7 days before the free period ends.

Plans

After the free period, you pay for a plan. Each plan has a price and limits:

  • how many loyalty cards you can have,
  • how many new customers can join each month,
  • how many counter actions (stamps, points, top-ups and so on) you can record each month,
  • how many shop locations you can have, and
  • how many team members you can have.

Plans are paid monthly (30 days) or yearly (365 days). Current prices and limits are shown in your account’s Billing page, in Pakistani rupees. We may also offer you a plan made for your business alone, with its own price and limits. Changing plans is how your price and limits change: we never change one limit on its own.

Taxes

Prices do not include sales tax on services. Where the law requires us to charge it, we add it to your bill at the rate that applies and show it separately. If the law requires you to withhold tax from a payment to us, you may, as long as you send us the official certificate or receipt for it within 30 days; the amount withheld then counts as paid.

Months

Monthly counts start again at 5am Pakistan time on the 1st of each month.

At a limit

  • When this month’s new customers reach 90% of your plan’s limit, we tell you in your account.
  • At 100%, we tell you in your account, and by email unless you turned those emails off in Settings. A customer who tries to join after that sees that your shop isn’t taking new cards right now. If a customer is turned away and we haven’t already told you this month, we tell you.
  • Counter actions are counted but never stopped. Your customers’ cards always keep working at the counter, whatever your usage.
  • When you reach your limit of loyalty cards, locations or team members, you cannot add another until you change plan or remove one.

Launch offers

We may lift the new-customer limit on every plan for a time, as a launch offer. An offer always ends when the monthly count starts again, never in the middle of a month, and we tell you a week before it ends when we can.

Paying

We do not take card payments. You pay by bank transfer:

  • Choose a plan in Billing. It shows our bank account and a payment reference, for example PAY-4M09-X1KJ.
  • Make the transfer, quoting the reference.
  • Upload the receipt in Billing.

We check the transfer against our bank account, usually within one business day (Monday to Friday, except public holidays). Your plan starts when we approve it and runs for its full length. If you pay during the free period, the plan starts when we approve it and the rest of the free period ends. If you renew early, the new period starts when the current one ends, so you lose no days. If less arrives than the plan costs, we decide whether to accept it or ask for the rest. We may also record a payment made in cash, or give a plan free of charge, by agreement with you.

Renewing and paying late

Plans do not renew on their own: you renew by paying again.

  • We remind you 7 days, 3 days and 1 day before your plan ends.
  • If the money is late, your account keeps working fully for 14 days from the day it was due.
  • After those 14 days, if we have not received payment, we lock your account (section 11).
  • We never lock you while we are checking a receipt you sent. If we refuse a receipt, you have at least 3 days to send another before any lock.
  • When we approve your payment, a lock for non-payment is lifted straight away.

6. Refunds

Fees pay for time that has started, so a period you have begun is not refunded, except:

  • Paying too much. If you send more than the plan costs, we refund the extra on request.
  • A bill you withdrew or that was cancelled. You can withdraw a plan you chose until you send the receipt, and closing your account cancels any bill still open. Money that reaches us for a bill cancelled this way is refunded in full.
  • A yearly plan closed early. If you close your account within 30 days of our approving a yearly plan’s payment, we refund it less one month’s price. After 30 days, a yearly plan is not refunded.
  • When we stop the service, or close your account ourselves for any reason other than your breaking these terms, we refund the whole months of your plan that are left.
  • When the terms change against you. If you close your account before a change to these terms takes effect because it takes away something you rely on, we refund the whole months of your plan that are left (section 15).

Nothing is refunded when we lock, suspend or close an account for breaking these terms, and a plan given free (a free period, a launch offer, a complimentary plan) is never refunded or paid out. Closing your account does not by itself end or refund a plan you have paid for. Refunds are paid by bank transfer to the account you paid from, within 14 days of our agreeing them. To ask for one, write to [email protected].

7. Your duties to your customers

Your customers have a relationship with your business, not with Passkaar. You agree:

  • To honour your cards. Rewards, points, prepaid balances, coupons and memberships are your promises to your customers, and you are responsible for keeping them. Passkaar records them; it does not pay them.
  • Not to take away what was earned. When you change a card’s rules in a way that affects customers who already hold it, Passkaar converts their cards in the customer’s favour: value already earned is never taken away, and every holder is told about the change. You may not try to get around this.
  • To keep your card’s terms honest. The terms you write on a card are yours. If you change them, every customer’s card shows the new terms. You remain responsible for what you promised before the change.
  • To ask only for what you need. Your join form always asks for a first name and a phone number or email. Ask for more only if your card needs it. Never ask for CNIC numbers, bank or card numbers, passwords or health information.
  • To tell your customers how you use their details. The join page tells them in one line that your shop uses their details for the card and its offers, never sells them, and removes them on request, and links to our privacy policy. If you have your own privacy policy, add its link in Settings and it appears on your join page and cards.
  • To send messages your customers would expect. Messages on cards are for your card, your shop and its offers. Do not send messages that are misleading, offensive or unlawful, or so often that they become a nuisance.
  • To deal with your customers’ requests. If a customer asks what you hold about them, to correct it or to remove it, answer them. To correct a customer’s details, write to us and we will change them. You can also ask us to erase a customer (section 8).
  • To settle with your customers before you close. If you close your account, cards stop updating and stop working at the counter (section 11). Before closing, settle prepaid balances, rewards and memberships your customers hold with you.

8. Your customers’ information: we process it for you

Your customers’ details belong to your business. For them, you decide how they are used, and we hold and process them on your behalf, only to run your loyalty cards. In particular, we:

  • use them only to run your cards: to make and update the cards, run your join pages and the counter, and send the messages you choose to send. We never sell them, never use them to market anything to your customers, and never share them with another business on Passkaar;
  • keep them apart: each business can see only its own customers;
  • limit our own staff’s access to the people who need it to run and support the platform. When Passkaar staff open your account to help you, that is recorded in our audit log, and anything they change shows in your account’s history;
  • use other companies only to deliver the service. Apple and Google receive what is needed to put cards in their wallets and keep them up to date; Cloudflare carries traffic to our servers and checks that visitors are people; Google Cloud runs our servers and stores the data. Our email provider, Zoho ZeptoMail, sends email to you and your team, never to your customers. Our privacy policy lists them. We tell you in your account before we add a company that receives your customers’ details;
  • may process them outside Pakistan, where those companies run their services;
  • tell you without undue delay, and within 72 hours, if we learn that your customers’ details have been reached by someone who should not have them;
  • help you answer your customers. From your account, the owner or an admin can ask us to erase a customer. Once we approve the request, the customer is hidden from your lists and gets no more messages, and 30 days later their name, phone number, email, date of birth and answers are erased for good and their card is cancelled in both wallets. Until then you can cancel the request. Their card’s history stays, with nothing in it that names them. A request that reaches us directly is entered by us for your business;
  • keep and delete them as section 12 says.

You are responsible for having your customers’ agreement, or another lawful reason, to collect what your join form asks.

9. Acceptable use

You may not use Passkaar:

  • for anything unlawful in Pakistan, including content that the Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act 2016 makes an offence;
  • to sell or promote anything section 3 lists as a trade we do not serve;
  • to mislead customers: fake offers, rewards you do not mean to give, or cards that pretend to be another business’s;
  • to use a logo, name or picture you do not have the right to use;
  • to collect information your card does not need, or the kinds section 7 forbids;
  • to send messages that harass, threaten or deceive;
  • to get into another business’s account or data, test our security without our written permission, or overload the service with automated requests;
  • to resell Passkaar or let another business use your account.

If you break these rules we may remove the content, lock or suspend your account (section 11), or both.

10. Availability and support

Availability. We work to keep Passkaar running at all hours and to make updates without stopping it, but we do not promise that it will never be unavailable, and we offer no uptime percentage or credits. While our servers are unreachable, cards already in your customers’ wallets still open and show their QR codes, but the counter and new joins wait until we are back. We are not responsible for Apple’s, Google’s or a mobile network’s outages.

Support. Email [email protected] or WhatsApp +92 342 8845163. Replies to our emails reach the same support inbox. From your account’s Help page you can also report a problem, with a screenshot if you like, and it reaches our support team. We answer from 9am to 6pm Pakistan time, Monday to Friday, except public holidays, and reply within one business day — sooner when your counter or your customers’ cards are not working.

11. Locking, suspension and closing

Locked for non-payment

If a plan or free period runs out and payment has not arrived 14 days after it was due (section 5), we lock the account:

  • your join pages close, and no new customer can join;
  • you cannot publish or change cards, or send messages;
  • in your account, your team can still use the counter, find customers, and read history, Billing and Settings;
  • the cards your customers already hold keep working and keep updating. A missed payment never breaks a card in a customer’s wallet.

When we approve your payment, the lock is lifted straight away. We never close an account for non-payment alone.

Locked or suspended for another reason

We may lock or suspend an account that breaks these terms, that we reasonably believe is fraudulent, or when the law requires it. Unless the breach is serious, or waiting would harm your customers, other businesses or Passkaar, we first tell you what is wrong and give you 7 days to put it right. A suspended account cannot be opened at all. As with a lock, the cards your customers already hold keep updating. Only Passkaar lifts a lock or suspension placed for these reasons, and paying does not lift it on its own. When we lock an account we tell you why. A suspended account is told to write to us, and we explain there.

Closing your account

An owner can close the account in Settings while it is running normally or locked (not while it is suspended), by typing the business’s name to confirm. Closing is final: it cannot be undone, and a closed account cannot be reopened.

  • Every card stays in your customers’ wallets exactly as it was, and stops updating for good.
  • The counter stops: no stamps, points, top-ups, deductions or rewards on any card.
  • No messages or automatic reminders are sent.
  • Your join pages close.
  • Any bill you have not paid is cancelled. For a plan you have paid for, see section 6.

Before you close, read section 7’s last point.

When we close an account

We may close an account ourselves only for a serious or repeated breach of these terms, for fraud, when the law requires it, or when we stop the service. We give 30 days’ notice by email and in your account, unless the law or the harm involved does not allow it. Closing then works as above, and section 6 says what is refunded.

12. Your data when you close, and deletion

When you close. We keep your account’s records, including your customers’ details and their cards’ history, for 12 months after the account closes, to answer disputes and for our accounts. Then we erase your customers’ personal details as section 8 describes. You can ask us to erase them sooner by writing to [email protected].

Getting a copy. Before or after you close, an owner can ask us for a copy of your customer list and their cards’ balances, as a spreadsheet file. We send it to the owner’s email address within 14 days, for as long as we still hold the details.

What we keep regardless. Some records cannot be deleted, so that money and disputes can always be traced:

  • every stamp, point, top-up and other change to a card’s balance — a correction is a new entry, never an edit. When a customer is erased these entries stay, with nothing in them that names the customer;
  • payments, receipts and bills between you and us;
  • the history of important actions in your account (who did what, and when), which also records the email address of the team member who signed in or was invited. It is never deleted.

Deleting an individual customer. See section 8.

13. Your content

You keep the rights to your logo, pictures, card designs and text. You allow us to use them to show your cards, join pages and messages to your customers, and to run the service. Every card’s back also says that it runs on Passkaar; that line cannot be removed.

We may name your business, and show its logo or a card it made, on passkaar.com and in our marketing as a business that uses Passkaar. If you would rather we did not, write to [email protected] and we stop within 30 days. We never show your customers’ details.

14. Liability

  • Passkaar is provided as it is. We do not promise it suits every business.
  • We are not liable for loss of profit, business or goodwill, or for indirect loss.
  • We are not liable for what Apple, Google, Cloudflare, a bank or a mobile network does or fails to do.
  • We are not liable for promises you make to your customers (section 7), or for what you send them.
  • You are responsible to us for claims that arise from your cards, your content, your messages or your breaking these terms.
  • Our total liability to you, for everything arising from these terms, is no more than the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the event that caused the claim.
  • Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow to be limited.

15. Changes

To the service. We improve Passkaar and sometimes change how it works. If a change takes away something you rely on, we tell you in your account at least 30 days before, unless the change is needed for security, because the law requires it, or because Apple or Google changed their wallets.

To these terms. When we change these terms, we publish the new version with its date, tell you in your account, and ask the owner to accept it at their next sign-in. A change takes effect 14 days after we publish it, or sooner when the law requires it. Using Passkaar after that counts as accepting it. If you do not agree, you can close your account before it takes effect, and section 6 says what is refunded.

16. Pakistani law

These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan, and the courts at Lahore have jurisdiction. Before going to court, either of us will first write to the other and try to settle the dispute within 30 days.
